01 · Information
What we collect and why
Website visits
Our hosting and content-delivery providers handle ordinary request details such as your IP address, browser or device information, requested page, and date and time. This is needed to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the site.
Forms and messages
If you choose to submit a form or email us, we receive the details you provide. The general email signup asks for an email address. The Free Flight Plan asks for your name, email address, and company.
Free Flight Plan
Contact details submitted through the assessment may be used for SwiftRoot email or newsletter follow-up through MailerLite. Your assessment answers, scores, and report are used to build the immediate on-page result and are not sent to MailerLite.
Purchases
When you choose to buy, Stripe processes Checkout and payment details. Stripe shares the transaction and contact information SwiftRoot needs to provide the engagement and keep appropriate business records. SwiftRoot does not receive your full card number.
We use this information to provide the site and requested services, respond to you, send follow-up you signed up for, operate and improve the business, protect the site, and meet legal or accounting obligations.
02 · Providers
Who helps us provide the site
- Amazon Web Services (S3 and CloudFront)Hosts and delivers the static website and handles the technical requests needed to do that.
- Bunny FontsDelivers the Manrope font on most pages. A font request shares ordinary request information, including your IP address, with Bunny.
- MailerLiteLoads the homepage signup form and processes email-list and Free Flight Plan contact details for SwiftRoot follow-up. See MailerLite’s privacy policy.
- StripeHosts secure Checkout and processes payment information when you choose to buy. See Stripe’s Canadian Privacy Center.
These providers may process information outside Canada, including in the United States or other countries where they or their subprocessors operate. Information in another country can be subject to that country’s laws. We do not share personal information beyond providers working for us or where disclosure is required or permitted by law.
03 · Control
Storage, email, and your choices
Cookies and local storage
SwiftRoot’s site code does not currently set cookies. It stores one theme preference in your browser’s local storage so light, dark, or automatic mode can be remembered. The embedded MailerLite form loads provider scripts that may use cookies or similar technology when the form is loaded or used. You can clear or block browser storage in your browser settings.
Email choices
You can choose not to submit a signup or assessment form. MailerLite uses double opt-in for the Free Flight Plan contact signup. You can unsubscribe from follow-up or newsletter email using the link in an email, or contact SwiftRoot directly.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above and for legal, tax, accounting, dispute, or security needs. Retention depends on the kind of record and why it is needed; we delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably required.
How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards suited to the information and rely on established providers for email, hosting, and payment processing. No website, transmission, or storage system can promise absolute security.
04 · Requests
Ask about your information
You can ask what personal information SwiftRoot has about you, request a correction, ask us to delete information where appropriate, withdraw consent for future use where applicable, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity and may keep information where there is a legal or legitimate business reason to do so.
